WAI CHING HO (Bernice, "The Robot Fixer"). A native of Hong Kong, Wai Ching Ho moved to New York after graduating from the University of Hong Kong. During the last thirty years, she had raised a family and worked in numerous theatrical productions as well as television and film projects. Recently she appeared at the Public Theatre in "The Square" with the Ma-Yi Company; in "TEA" at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre; and in "The Legacy Codes" at the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca. Some of her favorite roles include Lily Chin in "Carry The Tiger To The Mountain" (Pan Asian Rep), An-Mei Hsu in "The Joy Luck Club" (The Long Wharf Theatre), Ginny in "Mirrors Remembered" (N.Y. Stage and Film Festival) and Essie Miller in "Ah, Wilderness!" (NAATCO). On television she recurred for 13 years as Kim on "One Life To Live," recurred as Dr. Ang on "Wonderland," and has been featured on "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and "Law & Order: SVU." Ms. Ho also portrayed Mrs. Tan, the mother of author Amy Tan, in "Visions Of America." Film credits include "Happiness," "A Price Above Rubies," and "Somewhere in the City."
