My primary social media platforms are Bluesky and Mastodon. I’ve got an awesome everything Bluesky account, @gregpak.net, and an awesome work-only Bluesky account, @gregpak.com. I’m biased, but I highly recommend them both!

A while back I deleted my old @gregpakpix Instagram account because Meta is terrible. But I recently started a new account on Instagram at @gregpaknet in order to follow groups and individuals involved in political causes important to me – not happy about it, but that’s where we are.

I have accounts on Pixelfed, Pillowfort, and Cara, which I’m giving a whirl to see if they can be good Instagram replacements. I’ve barely used these, but please feel free to follow me there.

I’m also infrequently on YouTube and Tumblr.

My Twitter username was @gregpak but I have deactivated that account. Anyone claiming to be me on Twitter is an impersonator.

I am not on Facebook. My Threads username was @gregpakpix but I deleted that account. Anyone claiming to be me on Facebook or Threads is an impersonator.

I deleted my @gregpakpix Instagram account because Meta is garbage, but recently rejoined under the account name @gregpaknet as noted above. Meta remains garbage and will get worse, so I don’t know how long I’ll remain there.

I briefly had a TikTok account, but deleted it after a right wing billionaire bought the company. I’m not on TikTok.

I have also deleted my Spoutible, Hive, Pinterest, Vero, Artfol, MySpace, Project Mushroom, Spore, and Grainery accounts. I was @gregpak on all of them. Anyone claiming to be me on those platforms now is an impersonator.

And just for fun, here’s a probably incomplete list of some of the social media sites that died on their own before I could delete them: AsianAvenue (going WAY back), App.net, Post, Ello, Cohost, Tsu (yeah I didn’t remember this one, either), and some service that maybe had a peach as its icon that I can’t remember now?
