LILO & STITCH #2 hit comic book shops today! The book was written by Greg Pak (hey, that’s me!) with interior art by Giulia Giacomino, letters by Jeff Eckleberry, editing by Nate Cosby, cultural consulting by Moana McAdams, and covers by Nicoletta Baldari, Trish Forstner, Edwin Galmon, Craig Rousseau.

Having evaded the agents of the evil Cluster Sovereign, Stitch has landed in New York City, where he finds the perfect place to hide: a toy convention! But can he evade the Sovereign’s drones long enough for Lilo to find him? Or will Manhattan become the latest battleground for Experiment 626?

I had  a great time last night talking with Uncanny Omar for the Near Mint Condition YouTube channel – and now the whole conversation is available for viewing!

We talked for almost 90 minutes about everything from my earliest experiences with making comics to breaking into the industry and writing WARLOCK and PHOENIX ENDSONG to the development of PLANET HULK to my current work on LILO & STITCH. It was a fun one!

Excited to report that I’ve got two big comics in shops today – LILO & STITCH #1 and DEADLY HANDS OF KUNG FU: GANG WAR #2! Ask your local comic shop to hold copies for you today — and if you’re in NYC, come to the LILO & STITCH signing at 5 pm at Midtown Comics Grand Central!

LILO & STITCH #1 was written by yours truly with art by Giulia Giacomino, letters by Jeff Eckleberry, cultural consulting by Moana McAdams, editing by Nate Cosby, and covers by Josh Middleton, David Nakayama, Jennifer L. Meyer, and Craig Rousseau.

Big news – I’m doing a signing of LILO & STITCH #1 with developmental editor and cultural consultant Moana McAdams and editor @natecosby.bsky.social at Midtown Comics Grand Central in NYC on January 31!

I loved the LILO & STITCH movie back in the day and have been having an absolute blast writing this series, which takes place shortly after the movie. You can check out a lettered preview of a couple of scenes right here!
