Pretty excited about this. My 1998 short film “Po Mo Knock Knock,” written by David Ball, directed by yours truly, and starring Bill Stiles, David Ball, and Vin Knight, is playing at 7 pm on August 14 at the Austin Film Festival’s Made in Texas short film screening!

1998, 3 minutes, B&W. A pair of tortured artistes confront the impossibility of communication by telling post-modern knock-knock jokes.
The film was produced by the Pollyannas, a New York based improvisational comedy group, and completed with a grant from the Experimental Television Center, Ltd.

Filmmaker and comic book writer Greg Pak has launched a Youtube channel to showcase a number of his acclaimed short films. Currently the channel features Pak’s latest short film “Mister Green” as well as the award-winning experimental comedy “Po Mo Knock Knock” and its mockmentary followup “Po Mo Love Doc.” Other films will come soon, including “Mouse.”
