Two more “Mastermind Excello” reviews

Greg Pak and Takeshi Miyazawa’s “Mastermind Excello” story from “Amazing Fantasy” #15 continues to garner postive reviews. From ShinyShelf.com:

… the story and art place this in that rare category, a genuine middle ground between US comics and manga. Good work from Greg Pak and Takeshi Miyazawa, and one I’d like to see again.

And from SilverBulletComics.com:

Mastermind Excello is well done, and I particularly like the little caption-arrows pointing out important, and not so important, elements in the panels, a nice little bit of play with the comics medium.

Pak’s Mastermind Excello is the longest of the bunch, and probably the strongest. It’s an interesting tale of the 7th smartest kid in the world trying to survive. There’s a highly coincidential cameo, but it’s all in good fun, and makes for an entertaining scene.
