Greg Pak: Agents of Atlas

The New Agents of Atlas, an international pan-Asian superhero team led by Jimmy Woo and Amadeus Cho, debuted in 2019 in Marvel Comics’ War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1, written by Greg Pak with interior art by Gang Hyuk Lim and a main cover by Billy Tan. The series featured the debut of the Filipino superheroine Wave, co-created by Pak and Leinil Yu, as well as the American comics debut of Crescent and Luna Snow from Marvel’s Future Fight game and Aero and Sword Master from Marvel’s Chinese webcomics partner NetEase.

The team went on to star in two more miniseries, Agents of Atlas and Atlantis Attacks.

You can buy a bunch of rare, signed variant covers of various Agents of Atlas books at the Greg Pak Shop!

I’m donating signed comics to the Kidlit Against Anti-Asian Racism Auction Fundraiser – and you can, too!

Do you think I can fit any more exclamation points into this post???!!!!?!?!

2019.11.13 – STAR WARS #74, RONIN ISLAND #8, and AGENTS OF ATLAS #4 in stores today!

Big day today! I’ve got three books in comic book stores — STAR WARS #74, RONIN ISLAND #8, and AGENTS OF ATLAS #4!

STAR WARS #74, drawn by Phil Noto with letters by Clayton Cowles, is the penultimate chapter in our run. The three different threads of our story come together as our heroes scramble to entrap Vader himself! Featuring the Wookiee/Sith fight you’ve always wanted!

RONIN ISLAND #8 features art by Giannis Milonogiannis, colors by Irma Kniivila, and letters by Simon Bowland. This remains one of my favorite projects I’ve worked on this decade, and the emotional stakes ramp up again in this issue for Hana and Kenichi. In a rave review, Fanbase Press says:

In issue number 8, a character is faced with having to make a difficult choice, and they don’t just continue on unaffected by it; they stop, and the reader is allowed to live in the character’s emotions. It’s a beautiful moment, and one of the reasons I love Ronin Island.

You can read the whole review here.

AGENTS OF ATLAS #4 features art by Nico Leon and Pop Mhan, colors by Rachelle Rosenberg, and letters by Joe Sabino. I love the little character moments that Nico and Pop are rendering so beautifully in this book. Don’t miss Wave and Sword Master finally getting paid and Isaac flirting with Raz! And yes, we’re getting up into major cliffhanger action here — with big ramifications for the upcoming ATLANTIS ATTACKS series!

Ask your local comic shop to hold all these comics for ya! Thanks so much!
