A short film written and directed by Greg Pak. 14 minutes, 2014. Starring Cindy Cheung, Sebastian Martinez, Lilyana Cornell, Raquel Almazan, Tarah Flanagan, and Mandi Madsen.

Sam, the host of the once-popular children’s television show “Happy Fun Room,” clashes with her child co-stars, recalcitrant crew, and unsupportive studio execs as her career and life fall to pieces. “Happy Fun Room” teaches kids how to be safe in an insanely dangerous world. But the world has changed and the show’s messages may no longer apply. Can Sam prevent her past fears from making her a monster in the present?

Produced by Nekisa Cooper and Jessica K. Brown. Executive Producer for ITVS Sally Jo Fifer. Cinematography by Sam Chase. Production Design by Sara K. White. Costume Design by Kitty Boots. Music composed by David Libby. Casting by Lois Drabkin.

Happy Fun Room is a co-production of Pak Man Productions, Ltd. and the Independent Television Service (ITVS), with funding provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
