Joseph Szadkowski has written a rave review of “Skaar” #1-5 for the Washington Times “Zadooks” section. Here’s an excerpt:
Big sword, big fists, always angry and ready to decapitate, Skaar is my kind of fellow. Mr. Pak has spun an intense tale to grab Hulk lovers’ attention and fans of a certain muscle-bound Cimmerian. It’s just a matter of time before father returns to see how much trouble his irradiated offspring has caused. I can’t wait.
Ron Lim has come on board as the new penciller for “Skaar: Son of Hulk,” and Wizard has a sneak preview of some of his pages from “Skaar” #8, which hits stores on February 25.
Marvel has announced that “Skaar” #7, written by Greg Pak with art by Butch Guice, has sold out at Diamond. Marvel will go to press a second time with a variant cover using inside art by Guice.
At yesterday’s Marvel Mondo panel at the New York Comic-Com, writer Greg Pak revealed that Skaar, Son of Hulk, will finally hit Earth in “Planet Skaar,” a new storyline beginning in May with the “Planet Skaar Prologue” and “Skaar” #11.
