My short film “Happy Fun Room” plays TODAY at the Chicago Underground Film Festival in Shorts Program 10 at 2 pm!
The great artist Tom Raney and I are working on a short comic book story called PHANTOM LIMB GHOSTPUNCHER as part of the Broken Frontier comics anthology that’s now raising funds on Kickstarter. We’re ridiculously excited about the project and hope you’ll come along for the ride — check out the Kickstarter here!
The project’s origin story goes back to January 2013, when I joked about the idea on Twitter and Tom said it should happen and I said he should draw it. AND NOW IT’S ALL COMING TOGETHER!

I love comics.

The last issue of my STORM series hits stores next Wednesday! Check out a few preview pages and an interview with Comic Book Resources readers right here.

Thanks so much to everyone who supported the “Princess Who Saved Herself” Kickstarter last month! And here’s some good news — we’ve opened a pre-order page that will allow readers who missed the Kickstarter to buy hardcovers of the book, which is scheduled to ship in June! The pre-order period will last until 11:59 pm ET, Thursday, April 23, so please do place your orders now!
“The Princess Who Saved Herself“ is a children’s book based on the beloved song by Jonathan Coulton and written by yours truly with art by Takeshi Miyazawa, colors by Jessica Kholinne, and letters by Simon Bowland. It tells the story of Gloria Cheng Epstein Takahara de la Garza Champion, an awesome princess who lives with her pet snake and plays rock ‘n’ roll all day to the huge annoyance of the classical guitarist witch who lives down the road.
Read on for a 10 page preview! And buy it today!

Hey, California! I’m attending the Wondercon comic book convention this weekend in Anaheim!
I’ll be in Artists’ Alley at table A-28 the whole weekend, right next to my ACTION COMICS collaborator, artist Aaron Kuder (A-27). I’ll sign comics for free, natch. And I’ll be selling CODE MONKEY SAVE WORLD and a bunch of my other comics.
If I’m not at the table, I’m probably at one of these events:
Friday, April 3
1:00-2:00 pm – Batman Panel – Room 300DE
Saturday, April 4
2:00-3:00 pm – Spotlight on Greg Pak – Room 209
3:00-4:00 pm – Make Comics Like the Pros – Room 211
4:15-5:00 pm – Greg Pak/Fred Van Lente signing – Exhibit Hall, booth 233
Excited! See you there!

“Batman/Superman Annual” #2, written by yours truly with art by a slew of amazing folks, including Tyler Kirkham and Ardian Syaf, hits stores this Wednesday! Check out the lettered preview here.
