Eight “Incredible Hulk” #100 lettered preview pages at Newsarama

Newsarama.com has the first eight, lettered pages of “Incredible Hulk” #100 in an online preview. “Incredible Hulk” #100 is a giant-sized special issue containing a 22 page “Planet Hulk” story, a 12 page backup story featuring a Civil War tie-in and the return of fan-favorite character Amadeus Cho, aka Mastermind Excello, and several reprints of classic Hulk stories from the past. The new stories are written by Greg Pak with art by Carlo Pagulayan (the Planet Hulk story) and Gary Frank (the Civil War tie-in). These are literally perfect translations of the TV series and it’ll be fascinating to see where Pak takes the story, based on character interaction alone.

This is the exception to the rule, a tie in comic which evokes its originator without being beholden to it. Its fast, packed with character and incident and told with absolute confidence. Fans of the series shouldn’t be without it.
