ComicPants.com digs “World War Hulk: Aftersmash”

David Martindale of ComicPants.com really likes “World War Hulk: Aftersmash,” written by Greg Pak with pencils by Rafa Sandoval. Here’s an excerpt from the review:

Pak continues to fire on all cylinders, getting solid to very strong action, character, and plot into the book. Sandoval’s pencils aren’t flashy, but they are very solid with well above average storytelling ability. This is a must for fans of Planet Hulk and World War Hulk.

Comixtreme digs “World War Hulk: Aftermath”

Comixtreme.com gives the “World War Hulk: Aftermath” one-shot a great review. An excerpt:

… the execution is wonderful. Pak draws us right into the characters and makes us care about what’s happening to them, and anxious to see what will happen to them next. The art team is just as solid as the writing. Overall, this is a story that ties up a few loose ends and leaves a good starting point for future projects.

SavageCritic.com likes “Incredible Hulk” #111

Graeme McMillan at the Savage Critics nods approvingly at “Incredible Hulk” #111, written by Greg Pak and Jeff Parker and pencilled by Leonard Kirk. An excerpt:

It’s a good sign, too, that the new/old book will be worth checking out, as everything here is pretty Good; Cho’s pretty much been the breakout star of the World War Hulk event for me, and his interplay with the dumb but well-meaning Hercules is entertaining enough for me to want to see more.

With “new/old book,” McMillan’s referring to the fact that with issue #112, “Incredible Hulk” gets turned over to Hercules and Amadeus Cho for a storyline written by Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente — the book gets officially renamed “Incredible Hercules” starting with issue #113.
