Greg Pak wrote the ongoing FIREFLY comic book series, published by BOOM! Studios from 2018 to 2022. Storylines include The Unification War, Blue Sun Rising, and New Sheriff in the ‘Verse. Interior artist have included Dan McDaid, Lalit Kumar Sharma, Ramon Bachs, Daniel Bayliss, and Simona Di Gianfelice. The series introduced a number of new characters to the comics, including the Unificator Boss Moon, the bandit Leonard Chang-Benitez, and Mal’s mother, Ma Reynolds.

Greg Pak has been a revelation to me on his Firefly run. Personally, there are two aspects of his run that have greatly impressed me. The first is giving Firefly an authentic “Season 2” feel. Each arc has felt like a widening of the ‘Verse, with more details and characters to truly make it all feel like a well-lived-in universe. The second thing which I think that he has truly built up is the sheer reach and force of Blue Sun, which had been alluded to in the past, but Pak truly makes them feel like a real corporation with a lot of influence on the Alliance and therefore in the universe.

Big news! I’ll be a guest at the Baltimore Comic Con this weekend, signing and selling books at table 212 in Artists Alley all three days! I’ll have trades of various Hulk and other superhero books and THE PRINCESS WHO SAVED HER FRIENDS as well as collector’s copies and special variants of a bunch of single issues, including FIREFLY, AGENTS OF ATLAS, AERO, SWORD MASTER, STAR WARS and a bunch more!

2019.05.15 – FIREFLY #6, JAMES BOND 007 #7, and STAR WARS AGE OF REBELLION: LANDO CALRISSIAN #1 in stores today!

2019.05.04 – Greg Pak to sign at Fourth World Comics in Long Island for FCBD

For the first time in my fifteen year comics career, I’ve contributed to a book that’ll be given away for free on Free Comic Book Day! No, wait, I’ve contributed to TWO books that’ll be given way for free on Free Comic Book Day!

BOOM! Studios’ WELCOME TO THE WHEDONVERSE book will include a FIREFLY story written by yours truly with gorgeous art by Ethan Young that tells an untold story about Boss Moon, the breakout antagonist of the ongoing series.

And Marvel’s MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU preview book includes some pages from the STAR WARS AGE OF REBELLION: BOBA FETT story written by yours truly with art by Marc Laming and colors by Neeraj Menon.

And if you’re in the New York area, you can get them both signed by me at Fourth World Comics, 33 RT-111, Smithtown, New York 11787, from 1-4 pm, Saturday, May 4!

Thrilled to report that I’m a guest of Wondercon this weekend in Anaheim, California!
