Skaar is a Marvel Comics character co-created by writer Greg Pak and artist Carlo Pagulayan. The character first appeared in World War Hulk #5, written by Greg Pak and drawn by John Romita, Jr. Skaar is the son of the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong, conceived on Planet Sakaar during the Planet Hulk storyline. Skaar starred in the Skaar: Son of Hulk series, launched in 2008 by Pak and artist Ron Garney. After arriving on Earth, Skaar co-starred in the Incredible Hulk series beginning with the Son of Banner storyline in issue #601 and coming to a climax at the end of the World War Hulks storyline in issue #611. The character had his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the 2022 season finale to the She-Hulk series.

Marvel has announced that “Skaar” #7, written by Greg Pak with art by Butch Guice, has sold out at Diamond. Marvel will go to press a second time with a variant cover using inside art by Guice.

Marvel announces “Planet Skaar” at the New York Comic-Con – UPDATED
At yesterday’s Marvel Mondo panel at the New York Comic-Com, writer Greg Pak revealed that Skaar, Son of Hulk, will finally hit Earth in “Planet Skaar,” a new storyline beginning in May with the “Planet Skaar Prologue” and “Skaar” #11.

BS: … are you going to explain how Magda survived the liquidation of the Gypsy families at Auschwitz? Fans have speculated that Magneto, in his position as a Sonderkommando, was somehow able to arrange for her to be smuggled into the Jewish women’s camp. But it’s just a theory, and I hope you’ll address it. Thanks for staying true to history, and at the same time writing a truly compelling story.
GP: We absolutely will address this question in the last issue of “Magneto Testament.†Things won’t play out the way you might expect, but everything that happens matches the actual history of the Gypsy Family Camp in Auschwitz.
